Log Entry 52, 26 April 2012

So today is the Thursday before Annual Military Inspection.. things are kind of hectic here and scattered about. Also, I am extremely sick - but what else is new? I keep coughing and have actually injured an optic nerve from it, or so the nurse tells me. This means that I can't really see anything today, and probably won't be 100% for a little while. So I'm in the lab with a migraine and a bad cough, working on sketching plans for our robot. If there are typos in this log entry I apologize because I really can't see much of anything. My partner, Tess, is a trooper and is working down in the lab alone today. My lovely teachers have been kind enough to let me stay in the systems room this class period, because the air in the lab is full of sawdust and metal dust and all kinds of dust - unfortunately those things have only made my cough worse lately, so I'm really happy to be up here today. Yesterday we worked on finalizing the slide for the soil tray and checking our calendars for accuracy before they were graded. Today Tess is working on drilling the holes in the sheet metal for a way to attach the metal slide to the robot. She may also be working on the soil tray itself. I wish I could help out and more importantly I wish I could get rid of this stupid cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
